Advanced classes are classes which go beyond the traditional roles present by regular classes, granting further specialization while also typically being more restrictive in their prerequisites and some even requiring multiclassing before being taken. As with regular classes, levels from advanced classes stack with your regular class levels when determining Total Level (TL). For example, a character who is Soldier 7 / Occultist 2 / Glyph Knight 5 is technically TL 14.
